
MICHAEL AND KAREN
SCHILLER
Michael and Karen started farming in 1975. Their family consists of four children;
sons Brian, Dennis and Charlie and daughter Michelle.
A few years after they started to farm, they purchased 22 grade
cows along with 160 acres. Soon
after that, they purchased their first purebred
They presently have 380 acres with 100 milking registered
The herd consists of many daughters and granddaughters of
their top bloodlines they’ve bred over the years they’ve had their
farm. They also have an extensive
breeding bull and cow merchandising program. At Schillview,
the present classification BAA is 108.0 with 10 excellent, 39 VG and 32
G+. The rolling herd average is
25,151 lbs. milk, 899 B.F., and 775 protein. Their top two cow families are Schillview Mtoto Gift; best record
at age 4-11, 365 day record of 38, 970, 3.5 fat, 1,381 with 3.1 protein, 1,210;
and Schillview Mtoto Geanie; best record at age 3-1, 365 day of 39,990, 3.6 fat,
1,421 lbs, and 3.2 protein, 1.261.
