cattle at the Carver Co. Fair, with an extensive display where families learn
about animal agriculture.
Hosted the Carver County Holstein Twilight Meeting, Farm
City Day in
They have attended 25 National Holstein conventions,
supporting the National Junior Show activities, breed programs and association
business.
GERALD:
Has been a member of the Minnesota Holstein
Association’s History Committee for years and has chaired the History
Display at their annual meeting for the past 10 years.
Chaired the 50th Anniversary of the
Secretary of the Carver County Holstein Club and a nine year
Board Member.
Albrecht Holsteins provided the display herd at the
Minnesota State Fair in 1988 and 1998.
Truly a promoter and supporter of the dairy industry,
JANICE:
Minnesota Holstein Association elected delegate to the
National Convention every year of eligibility.
MN Foundation for Responsible Animal Care (MNFRAC) Board of
Directors 1995 to present, President 2001-2003.
Minnesota Dairy Leaders Roundtable, representing MNFRAC,

Carver County Fair leadership since 1971; Open Class Supt.,
Director, Treasurer, Secretary, and since 1977 manager. In the late 70’s spearheaded the
Dairy Barn Building with donations, financing and project planning.
Carver County Extension Committee 2000 to present. Chair
2002 & 2003.
Carver County Dairy Day Committee, since 1972, secretary
since 1992.
Carver County Holstein Association Board of Directors for 18
